Do you have an idea for a product or service that you can offer on the Internet? Instead of spending time or money developing your idea and then trying to sell it, why not find out if there is any interest for your idea first? A Web Landing page will do just that. It is a marketing mini-website that motivates visitors to sign-up for more information. It is the first step in creating lists of potential customers for your online business. You can also use it as an event site, to provide downloadable content, or to promote anything else you do at at school or after-school.
We’ll show you exactly how to build your own landing page. You will learn how to use industry standard tools and create pages that work on desktops and mobile devices. We’ll even deconstruct a Live Landing Page that we use at The Recess Report to attract new customers.
There’s no coding or special skills needed. You’ll get private space to build your own landing page with drag and drop tools. We’ll give you ongoing feedback on your design, show you how to launch the page, how to link it to your own internet domain name or add it to an existing WordPress website.
Your landing page will be hosted for free for up to 6 weeks. You can upgrade to a full year of hosting and make changes to your landing page at any time. Parents are encouraged to watch all of the training videos, help with the design, offer feedback, ask questions and support your students to complete the program.
Program Duration is 2 weeks working at our recommended pace. Students have access to our design tools and hosting for up to 6 weeks. Support is provided for 6 weeks.
Recommended Level: Students in Grade 8 to 12.
